Unistellar developed a device that makes every backyard scope a joy to use. Their digital eyepiece uses image stacking and other image processing techniques to produce incredible images right in the telescope eyepiece.

This is amazing and truly a game change in the field of amature astronomy!
when the image is processed are you still seeing a live image or a still?
and is this an accessory I will be able to buy for my current scope or is it a telescope with this built in?

Fantastic idea, and hopefully capturing those images will be quick and easy too. I like the idea of the iPad as a secondary live display.
