In this video, I show how I put the Orion CT80 refractor telescope to the test with not so good skies. Making this video was so cold, temperatures were dropping to 1*F and my mount could not slew to park after imaging Orion and Andromeda. I imaged Andromeda through thin sheets of high clouds and […]
Yesterday i got my first scope Explore Scientific 152mm f/6.5 Achromatic Refractor April 24 is Also great day its Hubble Space Telescopes 25th birthday..and 25 is World Astronomy Day.what a great coinsidence…i cant wait to for first light…i will be happy to share my observations via Youtube or my blog…Thanx For watching You can buy […]
Meade lightbridge mini 82mm review Pros: -big aperture for cheap price -1.25″ eyepiece and focuser -usefull red-dot finder -stable mount -good for astrophotography -you get a good barlow lens cons: -can’t colimate primary mirror, only the secondary mirror -spherical mirror give spherical abberation -DSLR camera can’t achieve focus (almost all newtonian telescope has this problem), […]
GOD IT WAS / IS so cold out! Please leave a comment if you wish. The moon and a shot at a badly blocked Jupiter take center stage in my first and very cold outing with the telescope. More to come!
The main advantage of an 8 inch telescope over a 5 inch one is when you take long exposure photographs. The NexStar mount isn’t good enough for exposures longer than around 30 seconds. The planets and the Moon will look the same in both telescopes unless you live in the desert away from city lights. […]
This is the first of many astronomy videos on this channel. This is a review of my 2 scopes, more hardware is on the way so stay tuned. In this video i give a brief over view of the Powerseeker 60az Refracting telescope as well as the Powerseeker 127EQ Newtonian Reflector.
Upgrading your eyepieces – The first step Presented by Robert J Dalby Produced by A.R.B Media Productions for The Astronomy and Nature Centre
This is a very good telescope to pursue your interest in astronomy and astrophotography with. This is a setup and review of my new Orion ED80T CF Triplet Apochromatic Refractor Telescope. I wanted to add a wide field telescope to my astronomy / astrophotography equipment collection so I could image larger targets. I intend to […]
