@fatema fazal As mentioned in video, I bought it on Amazon as a used model. It was listed as “like new.”

I’m not sure I set mine up right the slow motion wire cables what ever they are, they don’t move all the way…?

Matthew Knight says:

wouldn’t recommend this telescope cheap telescopes will possibly disappoint new astronomers and if you do buy a cheap one and question yourself if I just spend $400 maybe I’ll get better views and then the bug bites you and you start buying and selling telescopes. Best advice is find an astronomy club near you and attend a star party check out the telescopes they bring out and see which one you like and which one is in your price range and go shopping for it online. I bought the 80eq model of this telescope sure it works but a EQ mount can be hard for new users to use correctly the issue with a dob is collimation making sure the mirror is facing the right way :B

Ethan Michael says:

I’m thinking of getting one should I?

CheeseWithMold says:

I have the same one. Was only able to see the Moon because I live close to the city, but I’m glad to know that it’s capable of viewing Mars/Saturn/Jupiter as well! Good review!

Carlos Ortiz says:

I got it for free on Craigslist lol some guy gave it to me 🙂 I also have an astromaster 114eq and the lenses are interchangeable so it’s awesome.
