This is a review of the AT72ED telescope for use as a telephoto lens on DSLR cameras. I know the lens shade says AT72CD on it, but I think that’s either a misprint, or an odd result of the font used, but the model is in fact AT72ED.
Far lower cost than similar focal length lenses. If you can live with a fully manual lens, you will be hard pressed to beat the image quality for the cost. As you can see in the video, one downside is that the glossy finish does collect fingerprints. It’s also available in matte white if the glossy finish is an issue for you.
Thanks for watching!

What a beautiful piece of gear! The focusing mechanism is wonderful, and I love the idea of a sliding lens hood.
is this is a good telescope for astrophotography…….?? I’m thinking of buying Orion Atlas mount……does this telescope is good.?
Great video. Do you use the same tripod for day-use and astronomic observation?
Hi, great review. Is this a good scope for both planetary views and deep sky nebula?
Great video mate, where did you get the telescope & adapter from?
thanks for the info bro. I live in the UK so if you can let me know where you bought this from that would be great
