Simple video to show a typical view of the moon through the Orion SkyScanner 100mm Telescope. I used an Orion 12.5mm On-Edge Planetary Eyepiece along with the Orion Shorty 2x Barlow. I used the Orion SteadyPix camera adapter to attach my Samsung Note 4 to record the video. *Note* I used a high power eyepiece with a 2X barlow so this view is not would you would see with the included eyepieces.

Is the standard eye pieces good enough to zoom right in on the crater’s ?
How comes when i look through my scope which is the same scope i see the big black dot that is fixed under the dust cap at the front? can anyone shed some light and tell how to get rid of it.
This is my first ever scope so am a complete novice to this and already getting egged off..
Will I need a moon filter with this scope?
Great resolution
