Vortex Recon 15X50RT 90-second No BS Monocular Review

This Video Review is From: http://www.binocularreview.com/

This Monocular is one of the most versatile pieces of glass I’ve used. It is tough, and able to be carried externally on a pack without needing to be babied. The glass is bright, the design is solid, and the reticle is an interesting change for anyone looking to range without a laser rangefinder.

The 15X version of this unit could almost be called a spotting scope. But this is lighter than any spotting scope I’ve ever handled. The Recon fits a niche that no other optics company is really designing anything for. Light weight, high grade glass in a compact form. I’ve taken to carrying this in all situations where I want some sort of glass, but don’t necessarily need a full set of binoculars around my neck.

You want to put Mexican food on your monocular? You look like a gear bomb – can’t take you seriously for a number of reasons.

Thanks for posting. Looking forward to that more in-depth review.

I’ve definitely got more to say about this guy. Its just that there’s so many other things on the go! Maybe I’ll have time for a 4 or 5 minute sitdown.

CaptainDamnIt says:

It’s pronounced molly. .

WSS in Calgary??? Wonders never cease. Thanks.

Samael Lane says:

what is the backpack?

TV-PressPass says:

This came straight out of Wholesale Sports oddly enough! They’re really good with their vortex line, even carrying some of the tactical stuff you wouldn’t normally expect there.

Wafty Chizler says:

This guy looks like he loves his guns and running around the woods shooting stuff. Bet he gets an erection when he hears a car backfire too.
